Custom Group - BBP Youth 5/17/25 @ Hammond Pond
This is a private custom group registration for The Boston Bouldering Project Youth Team.
Date and Time: 5/17/25 8AM-Noon
Location: Hammond Pond Reservation
Included: Equipment Rentals, Qualified Instructors,
Curriculum: Recreational Climbing, Introduction to Outdoor Top-Rope, Rappelling, Other topics as time allows.
Hammond Pond is a small crag about 20 min West of Boston, located in Chestnut Hill. The rock here is a conglomerate material that is fun and unique to most other outdoor crags. The rock here is also ideal for learning a style known as crack climbing, which can make for a fun day of trying new movement. This is also a fantastic crag to try if you want something available via public transit.
Group is responsible for coordinating at least one adult chaperone. Minors must have waiver completed by parent or guardian prior to climbing. Non-climbing companions are welcome but must sign a waiver and wear a helmet if in the climbing zone. Participants are encouraged to carpool if possible. Please see the FAQ page for policy details.
Early Registration Deadline: This group must have at least 6 registered climbers paid in full by 4/17/25 to be confirmed.
